Licensing &
Certification
Upon successful completion of the 40-hour Apprentice-in Training, students will be awarded a Certificate of Completion from Advanced Laser Institute.
To acquire a license as a Laser Hair Removal Apprentice, an
application must be submitted to the Texas Department of Licensing
and Regulation (TDLR) with an application fee of $50.
Registered Apprentice-In Training must complete eight hours of continuing education every two years to maintain their registration
with TDLR.
How to Upgrade License
To upgrade a license from Apprentice-in Training to Technician level, students must enroll in the 100 Treatment Practicum, which serves as the hands-on training component of the course. A separate enrollment form and fee will be required at the time of registration.
